World Environment Day
Prior to the successful execution of this Mega Plantation Drive, the members of Rotary Club Siliguri Umeed held a detailed preparatory meeting. During this session, the entire framework for the World Environment Day initiative was discussed and finalized. Through collaborative planning, the members unanimously decided on the selection of medicinal and fruit-bearing saplings, the necessity of protective fencing, and the logistics of coordinating with the Forest Department and Malabar Gold & Diamonds. The resounding success of this event is a direct result of the strong teamwork, careful preparation, and shared vision of all club members.
