The Rotary Club Siliguri Umeed recently organized a tree plantation drive at Fulbari Center Basti Jan Kalyan Seva Samaj, where around 70 individuals adopted plants in honor of loved ones despite heavy rain. Led by President Sanjeeb Thakur and Secretary Sanjay Gupta, the initiative aims to promote environmental protection. This isnt the clubs first effort, as theyve previously organized mega tree plantation drives, including one in Paini Kumari where 50 saplings were planted.
